Held upon the third Wednesday of August, the
carnival is the centerpiece of the summer entertainment in Weymouth.
The Weymouth Carnival Queen and the Swanage Carnival
Queen.
Various floats including a tribute to
environmentalists, and a shirehorse pulling a float.
A band proudly strolling along and playing in the
Carnival.
The Majorwrecks are a class act in red, with the real
majorettes in blue and white.
