United States. I have not been back since, but I love to
reminisce. Though I know many changes have taken place, but
I can still feel the spray of the Atlantic on Pulpit Rock and
I still recall attending church at Avalanche. Hopefully you
may add more pictures which I would truly welcome

E-mail: lodestone@blueyonder.co.uk 		Church Ope cove and Bow & Arrow castle - I have an almost identical shot of the castle arch hanging on my wall whic I took about 20 years ago.
An old resident told me that on a clear day you could see the Isle of Wight from the area beyond the arch. The Portland railway branch line travelled along the cliff face to the north, and there was still a GWR fence along its trackbed.
