Pier Bandstand

The pier opened on the 25th May 1939 with the original length of 60 metres.
In 1985 the seaward end of the bandstand had become too costly to maintain and was subsequently demolished. Nearby is the Anzac memorial, the Cenotaph and Brunswick Terrace.
